Hopefully at this stage of the game you have now created your Gmail account and have Adsense alive and kicking on your blog. You have signed up with a couple affiliate networks and are now trying to figure out where to go next. (If not, please refer to my first article as this will be a continuing series.) It is obvious that you now need some content as a couple of banner ads and Adsense alone is not going to allow you to quit your day job. You need a catalyst to pull it all together. Something to write about that will keep people interested and coming back for more. You could travel the web and see what you can copy from other sites and paste it to yours. I personally don't recommend this method as other webmasters will eventually get wind of what you are doing and the majority really don't appreciate someone stealing all of their hard work. Plus, readers have a tendency to notice the same old articles being sucked up and spat out from one place to another. Spiderbots have a way of picking up on duplicated material as well and it won't help you a bit when it comes to moving up in the ranks of search engines.
So be different and write something new that people will want to read about! Latest offers, breaking news, hobbies and interests. It's always good to write about something that you are knowledgable about and have a genuine interest in. I started off with a gaming forum and highly recommend starting with a casino blog or sports wagering site. This can be a tricky genre depending on where you are located. Advertising these type of sites can be somewhat difficult at the moment due to certain factors, but the returns can be quite lucrative. I do recommend researching the laws in your jurisdiction before getting started and of course, you can always go a different route altogether, this one just seems to work best for me. If you do choose to go this route, look around and see what the best offers are with your sponsors. Try to get as many 0 deposit banners on your site/blog as possible as these are a great way to get people onto a gaming site. Once this is accomplished, make some interesting blog posts regarding similar issues such as banking, credit cards, mobile phone games, even making money online. (Copy this if you want, I really don't mind.) But the more original you are, the more traffic you will get, the more traffic you get the more clicks you get and yes the more clicks you get the more you get paid! It's not brain surgery but it's a winning formula that works over and over again!
A few pointers though:
Don't make a "Made for Adsense" site as people won't read it or click your ads and after a while Google will put you on page 42 on their searches! (no clicks - no money!)
Don't click your own ads or tell people to click links so you can get paid! It's a huge no no, you may end up getting barred from your sponsors or worse you could be prosecuted for fraud!
Advertise your site! If you are a diehard forum hound, then posting your promos on other peoples sites may be one way to go. I would ask their permission first and work on building a good rapport with the owner. Make sure you post your notices in the proper areas and pay attention to each forum's rules for posting. Building good relationships with other webmasters and getting known in the community that you are interested in advertising to takes time. There are no get rich quick schemes, everything takes some work, research, time and patience.
Link exchanges with other site owners are also a good approach. Many have link pages on their sites as well as Top 100 sites. Feel free to visit my Top 100 by clicking here. You can also visit my forum and post your links there once you register. (Just shoot me an e-mail first if you would and mention this blog.) Or visit my portal, sign the guestbook and request to have your banner placed on there.
You may also want to try a Marketing Network Site. I am just now beginning to use "The Spiderweb Networking System". So far it is working pretty well and it is totally free, but it might not be for you. The banner should be at the bottom of this page if you would like to look into it. Another thing that I have just started looking into is Clickbank. So far it seems like a great way to make a lot of money. This is how it works, say that I was writing an ebook on "how to make money" or whatever...I could sell it here through Clickbank. If I didn't write it and someone else did and wanted me to sell it for them, I could use Clickbank to market it. More importantly, if I wrote the book and you sold it for me, you would receive up to 75% of the payment and I would get the remainder. All of these type of services are provided by Clickbank. It's something I'm still getting into and expanding on, but early results look very promising. Once again, it's free to set up and you can get paid once or twice a month! To join Clickbank, click here.
Finally, here's the big one...you are going to have to advertise online! I am betting you found me on a search engine. Well, guess what? I have to pay for that priviledge. You can look into various pay per click ad services and they can be costly. The fact is, you can have the sharpest looking website on the internet, but if nobody sees it...what's the point? Google is the big cheese on the block and Adwords is the way to go. Now that you have the Gmail account, you can look into signing up with Adwords. It only takes $5 to get started, but you will definitely have to spend more than that to get seen. Most PPC's run anywhere from $50 on up to get started. You can easily spend $150 a day in advertising! Presently my budget is about $600 per month, but I bring in 5 times that amount currently. No kidding! I am far from rich, but I work from home and don't have to deal with a daily commute, crabby bosses, and I set my own schedule. The more I work, the more I make...simple as that.
The good thing about Google Adwords is that you can pay by loads of different methods, so you pay after the ads have gone out. I would recommend you spend as much or as little as you can afford. If you whack a whole lot on, then you get a whole lot back through revenue on your ads. If you only put a little on, you only get a little back. It's a numbers game...on your cost per click (CPC) set that to $0.50 default, always advertise to the world (all countries) and I advise advertising in English only, it just seems to get the best results.
Other than that, all I can say is keep it honest, keep it clean and you will reap the rewards. Try a marketing system if you think it will help you. So far, it is working well for me along with my other projects. Helping others get started is its own reward and also helps me perpetuate more income.
Good Luck in all your ventures whether you decide to take my advice or not. If you want something bad enough you'll get it! If you found this guide useful, tell everyone you know because the internet is growing by nearly 1,000,000 users a day, so the market is huge and it won't cut into your profit!
I will be posting more articles here in the weeks to come as I have many more ideas to share with you. In the meantime, if you would like any more advice or if you want to let me know how you are getting on, drop me an e-mail. I always love to hear from people I've helped or give advice to those who are perhaps needing a few extra ideas to make their site more unique!

YOU REALLY CAN MAKE MONEY ONLINE AND HERE'S HOW:
I am guessing if you have found this page, then you have probably been investigating for quite some time various ways to make money online. You have probably seen every T.V. commercial with a trusted retired celebrity pushing different internet marketing methods requiring little work from you, a small investment and promising lucrative returns almost overnight. You have probably been bombarded by spam e-mails describing tons of different methods, claiming that you can make $30,000 a month working only 15-20 minutes a day, and they may even offer to give you a FREE website to get you started. (They don't mention the fact that you have to pay for hosting, a domain, and advertising. The fact is anyone can get their own website absolutely FREE and I will show you where as we continue.)
The bottom line to all these get rich quick online schemes is: You can't. Not overnight and not for 20 minutes a day anyway. You can make some handsome money in a reasonable amount of time however, and have your own profitable little business FREE of charge. You will have to eventually put some money into it for marketing costs, business license, hosting and domain services, of course, but these costs will be very nominal to what you can actually bring in. I will show you here step by step how to get started in your own online business absolutely FREE of charge!
You are going to need some tools and a little time, but it is free to set up. If you follow my instructions, you can be up and running in just a few hours and you will be able to track your income online so you can see exactly how much you are making.
The first thing you need is a website or blog, if you dont have one then you can get a free blog here http://www.blogger.com/. A blog is a very good starting point and you can actually begin making money right away by applying for Google Adsense. I recommend opening a Gmail account to keep track of all business correspondence and to have access to all of Google's services. You can simply type in "Gmail" in Google Search and obtain the necessary info on opening your FREE account.
Once you have your Gmail account go here: https://www.google.com/adsense/login3 to set up an Adsense account. This will give you a basic form of income from pay per click advertising. Once set up, this will enable you to place advertising on your blog which people will click on and if they purchase the advertised goods or services, it will earn you some revenue. It is free to set up and you will get a check once a month!
So now you have a blog and a small source of income, but at anything from 5 cents to a dollar a click, you probably won't be able to quit your job in the near future so let's look at some other forms of income.
One of the more lucrative forms of income is placing specific ads from various advertisers directly onto your site. You don't get paid if they click the ad, but you do get paid a commission if they buy a product and this can be very profitable indeed.
For these types of ads you will need to register with sites like Shareasale and Commission Junction. These sites have many of the major advertisers from all over the world registered with them. They will check your site content to see if you are suitable for certain advertisers before allowing you to post their ads. As long as you have valid content on your site which isn't harmful to the advertisers then they are usualy quite happy to have you on the books.
Again, it's free to register and you get paid on a monthly basis either by check or you can have it deposited directly into your bank. Commission from these sites' ads can be from as little as $1-$500+ per item depending on it's value and your chosen commission plan that you decided with that specific retailer.
So all of this is fine and dandy, but you need to have people looking at your site or blog on a regular basis. What you could really do with is some subscription services to affiliate your site with that will keep your customers coming back again and again. Since I am such a nice guy, I have provided some information on such services below!
Referback
Referback is a highly recommended advertiser for some very reputable online casinos and currently offer one high traffic bingo site. They have about 5 well known sites and accept US players. I thought that I would start you off with this affiliate site as they will pay you monthly by check where as many others require you to set up a QuickTender account or pay by wire transfer. It is also a good idea to start out with just a few sites like these in order for you to devote the attention needed to promote them. You can get the feel of affiliate marketing in this manner and grow as you go, adding more and more as time marches on. I currently have well over 100 affiliate sites and have some of them listed on my forum in my affiliate link section. I will add more to this in the future and probably add an affiliate section to my latest site as well.
Again, I recommend starting off with a blog as it is much easier to market since you won't have to fuss over meta tags, keywords, and other search engine optimization tricks as required with a website. Forums are a good source of traffic as people like to be able to offer feedback and interact with other members. They also help you to build a good client base which will enable you to notify your customers of promotional offers by e-mail without it being considered spam. You can be banned from affiliate programs for spamming and marked with a big scarlet letter for life. Just not a good practice if you want to win friends and influence people.
I made the mistake of starting off using a Proboards forum site, which is free to set up. There are others out there, such as Yuku and ActiveBoard and each will require you to learn some HTML and UBBC skills. That's where I ran into difficulty as I was pretty computer illiterate and had to learn the hard way. You can build a pretty professional looking website using Freewebs which is what I am using for my portal site. You can take a peek at that site by clicking here.
Well, that should give you a good starting point and keep you busy for awhile. I will add more advice here in the weeks to come and I welcome any feedback or questions that you may have. Feel free to send me an e-mail and let me know of your progress.
Good Luck and Happy Webpreneuring!!
